Blog 2: The Best Holiday Ever: Panama
Holiday in Panama:
Last year, my siblings and I went on vacation to Panama, specifically to Panama City and Playa Bonita. We went to visit my family, which includes my grandfather, my aunt, and my cousin. We hadn´t visited Panamá for 12 years. We stayed for 1 month at my grandfather's house. He lives in the Canal
Zone of Panama City, in Diablo, where the Panama Canal is only 10 minutes away.
In that month we toured the city, my grandfather drove us to Panama Canal,
the Chinese neighborhood, museums, Casco Antiguo (the historic
district is known for its charming architecture, vibrant nightlife, and
cultural attractions.). We also visited the Causeway (A waterfront promenade
where you can walk, jog, or bike along the coast), Ancon Hill and a lot of
beautiful places.
Besides spending time with my family and traveling
around, my grandfather taught me to drive, and I bought some clothes and
souvenirs. But my favorite activity was eating. One of the things I love the
most about Panama is the food, the gastronomy is so different from the one in
Chile. All the food is generally fried, and in addition to the different
fruits and vegetables, there are also many products from the United States,
which makes the meals very different. All the food is very different, even
Chinese food. One of the things I miss most about Panama is the food and, of
course, my family.
Hello Lore, the place Playa Bonita looks very nice and peaceful, I love that there are palm trees so close to it, also, the sunsets look very beautiful!!
