BLOG 5: Changes To My Study Programme
Today I want to talk about changes to my study program. I'm in my second year of dentistry. Therefore, I will discuss what I have experienced. In these 2 years, I have had to take many different subjects, such as anatomy, histology, physiology, simulation (practical and dental courses), pathology, etc. Most of those subjects are theoretical, but the way they manage the course, the class modalities, and the professors are different. I think that classes are often tedious and hard to understand because they either don't relate to each other or are too complex. It is supposed that in advanced years, the subjects are more practical. In dentistry, the academic workload is heavy because in the early years, there are many theoretical assessments, and in the clinical aspect, it's because passing the course doesn't only depend on you, it also depends on whether the patient attends or complies with what you ask of them.
