BLOG 1: Guangzhou
Guangzhou: Half of me.
Besides being a key city for world trade, more and more tourists are going to Guangzhou to enjoy new attractions, old temples, and its mild climate. I think Guangzhou combines the best of two worlds, the new and the old. In China people speak two languages: mandarin chinese and cantonese chinese, but in Guangzhou the main language is cantonese chinese, because this language was borned in that city.
An attraction I want to see in Guangzhou is Guang Xiao Temple, it is a one of the first temples of the world and it is still one of the most important Buddhist temples of China.
Other place I want to see is a Canton Tower, It is the main attraction that I would see in the city, it is the second tallest telecommunication tower in the world after Tokyo Skytre. It has 600 metres of height.
Hi Lore, I hadn't heard about Guangzhou before, but I loved the way you described it, I hope you can go with your grandfather soon!
ResponderEliminarNice place lore! would you like to learn some cantonese chinese before going, or does it seem like too much work? XD, I hope your grandfather can help you with the language
